Azerbaijan and Iran have agreed to hold regular political consultations on the level of foreign ministers, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a presentation of the foreign ministry's report for 2021.
"The Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and Iran have agreed to set up a working group in the field of communications. The working group will be headed by Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Leyla Abdullayeva and a representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry," Bayramov said.
On the visit of Iranian Foregn Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian to Azerbaijan, Bayramov said: "The issues of commissioning the Maiden Tower - Hudafarin hydraulic system, completing the construction of the Ordubad hydroelectric power station, the motor and pedestrian bridge over the Astara river and other issues were discussed as part of the visit."
