Mikhailov: Armenian provocation is aimed at destabilizing region

The clashes on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border were once again provoked by the Armenian side, Russian political scientist Yevgeny Mikhailov told Report.

According to him, the Armenian provocation is aimed at the complete destabilization of the situation in the region.

According to the Russian expert, in any case the United States and NATO are not interested in launching logistics projects in the South Caucasus in the event that a peace treaty is signed between Yerevan and Baku.

“The big game continues, and Armenia is once again a pawn on the chessboard of major powers,” Mikhailov said.

On September 12, the Armenian Armed Forces carried out a large-scale provocation in the Dashkasan, Kalbajar and Lachin directions of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border. Today, the Armenian side continued to fire at the units of the Azerbaijani Army in yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement.
