MFA: Netherlands welcomes historic progress in Azerbaijan-Armenia relations

The Netherlands welcomes the historic progress in Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, the Foreign Affairs Minister of the Netherlands, Caspar Veldkamp, said in a post on X, Report informs.

"I welcome today's agreements between Azerbaijani President Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Pashinyan - a historic breakthrough in the Oval Office. I applaud both countries and POTUS (Donald Trump - ed.) for making progress possible. While challenges remain, a peace treaty is within reach," Caspar Veldkamp said.

"Swift implementation of the agreed steps is now crucial. Normalisation of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations is essential for lasting peace, regional stability, and prosperity. The Netherlands remains a committed supporter in this process," the Dutch minister added.
