The Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles is taking measures to ensure the safety of Azerbaijani citizens in connection with the ongoing fires in California, Spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada said in response to Report's inquiry.
He noted that in connection with the fires that started on January 7 in western Los Angeles, a warning and emergency contact number have been posted on the social media pages of Azerbaijan's Consulate General in Los Angeles to ensure the safety of Azerbaijani citizens.
"A link to the relevant website was also posted so that citizens could get information about the fires and read the safety instructions," he added.
