Members of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopt appeal in support of Azerbaijan

Members of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted an appeal in support of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The appeal signed by the deputies of the ruling Servant of the People Party stated that Ukraine supports Azerbaijan and its people.

It was noted that after the anti-terrorist measures implemented in Karabakh, a smear campaign against Azerbaijan was launched at the international level: "Radical elements of the Armenian diaspora and some international media outlets intensify the propaganda of hatred against Azerbaijan. We consider this unacceptable. Azerbaijan carried out anti-terrorist measures in its internationally recognized territory."

The appeal also emphasized that after the surrender of the Armenian separatists in Karabakh, a large number of weapons and heavy military equipment were discovered in the area.

The MPs said that no one forced the Armenians in Karabakh to move, they left the region voluntarily: "The migration of the Armenian population of Karabakh to Armenia is non-violent in nature. This was also confirmed by the UN mission monitoring in Karabakh on October 1 and the representative of the US State Department, Miller."
