A representative of Turkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party has expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace agreement will be signed on the basis of territorial integrity, according to Report.
AK Party Deputy Chair for Foreign Relations, Mehmet Ceylan, said at the special conference of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) on "Peace and security: the role of political parties", hosted by the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) in Baku, relations and solidarity between Turkiye and Azerbaijan are stronger than ever: "Both in good and bad times, Turkiye stands by Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan stands by Turkiye. We took our relations to the highest level by signing the Shusha Declaration. A historic condition has been created to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region. Turkiye has great hopes for normalizing relations in the region. There is no other way."
