Matthew Bryza arrives in Baku

Former US ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza arrived in Baku on Saturday evening.

Report's correspondent has managed to meet with him and hold an exclusive interview.

- Mr. Bryza, we are always glad to welcome you here in Baku! Can you please give us some information about your plans for this visit?

- I have the honor to be the guest of ADA University and the AIM Center of the Presidency as part of a group of international analysts who will gather to discuss the future of the South Caucasus following the Second Karabakh War. On Sunday, I will have a chance to meet with senior officials of the Government of Azerbaijan. On Monday, we will go to the liberated territory of Aghdam, and on Tuesday I will participate in a conference at ADA University, which will include discussions with President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev along with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev.
