Los Angeles hosts festive event for World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day

A festive event celebrating World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day was organized by the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles, California, the US, Report informs.

The event was attended by Azerbaijanis living in Los Angeles, local community representatives, Mayor's Office officials, diplomats, and public figures.

Azerbaijani Consul General Vugar Gurbanov highlighted the historical significance of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, linking it to National Leader Heydar Aliyev.

He emphasized that the day reflects the state's appreciation for Azerbaijanis worldwide.

Gurbanov also spoke about Azerbaijan's global successes in recent years, noting that the restoration of the country's territorial integrity and sovereignty, thanks to President Ilham Aliyev's political will and the unity of the people around the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, is a source of pride. He added that Azerbaijan has been steadily growing and increasing its influence globally.

The event featured Azerbaijani national music and dance performances. Attendees enjoyed traditional Azerbaijani cuisine.

Additionally, Azerbaijani artists living in California showcased their works, and an exhibition provided information on the business activities of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs in the state.
