China and Azerbaijan should fully unleash the potential of bilateral cooperation, Liu Jianchao, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Minister of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, said at a conference themed "Azerbaijan-China Strategic Partnership: Promoting Consolidation and Cooperation in the Global South" held in Baku Wednesday, Report informs.
"Our expectations from cooperation still do not fully correspond to reality. In this context, the leaders of the two countries - Xi Jinping and Ilham Aliyev - last year raised our relations to the level of strategic cooperation. This means that the government, the party and the regions should contribute to the implementation of the leaders' plans by developing concrete projects and roadmaps," Jianchao said.
