Leyla Abdullayeva urges students in France to spread truth about Azerbaijan

A forum of Azerbaijani students studying in France was held in Paris within the Green World Solidarity Year, Report informs.

The forum was organized with the support of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Paris.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to France, Leyla Abdullayeva, as well as more than a hundred Azerbaijani students studying at higher educational institutions in Paris and other cities of the country in specialties such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, chemical engineering, foreign languages, communications, and others.

During her speech, Ambassador Leyla Abdullayeva told the students about the complex geopolitical situation of the region in which Azerbaijan is located, and also touched upon women's rights issues.

The ambassador expressed regret about the spread of false information about Azerbaijan in France that is far from reality. Leyla Abdullayeva urged students to spread reliable information about Azerbaijan in the universities where they are studying.

As part of the forum, Azerbaijani doctoral students studying in France, Kubra Bayramova, Said Pashayev, and Ulvi Bagiyev, made presentations on the topic "Solidarity for a Green World." They spoke about global warming, the volume of carbon emissions into the atmosphere and its impact on climate, as well as carbon policy and steps taken in Azerbaijan in the name of a greener world.
