Kuwaiti official: Missing persons must be found, families deserve answers

Missing persons must be found, and their families must be informed about their fate, Ambassador Rabea Saad Al-Adsani, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait for Prisoners of War and Missing Persons, said at the international conference on missing persons held in Baku on October 2, Report informs.

According to Al-Adsani, Kuwait has made significant strides in addressing the issue of missing persons, both in military and non-military conflicts. "The State of Kuwait has achieved great successes in finding missing people, whether in military or non-military conflicts. This is a crucial matter, and progress must be made," he asserted.

The ambassador stressed the need for support and collaboration in resolving the challenges faced by the families of the missing. "We must provide the necessary support to families to address the critical issues they face. As Kuwait, we have done this. However, close cooperation and international support are also essential for this matter," he added, expressing Kuwait's readiness to share its expertise in this regard.
