Azerbaijanis evacuated from Wuhan leave for Baku

Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim met with six Azerbaijani citizens, who were evacuated from China by a Turkish plane.

Report informs that Azerbaijanis kept in a two-week quarantine period in Turkey leave Ankara for Baku this afternoon.

Our citizens spoke the Ambassador about their evacuation from Wuhan and the current situation in China in connection with the coronavirus outbreak.

Azerbaijani citizens visited the Heydar Aliyev Park and paid tribute to the national leader, as well as the founder of the Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Ataturk in the mausoleum "Anytkabir." Then, they visited the grave of Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh.

Notably, yesterday Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koja announced the end of the quarantine period for citizens evacuated from Wuhan to Turkey. None of them had a positive result for the novel coronavirus.
