Kamran Aliyev: Relations between Azerbaijani and Georgian Prosecutor-General's Offices will enter a new phase

"Cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Georgian Prosecutor-General's Offices is at a very high level. "After our visit to Tbilisi and our discussions, our relations will further develop on a new level," Azerbaijani Prosecutor-General Kamran Aliyev, who is on a visit to Tbilisi, told reporters after a meeting with his Georgian counterpart Irakli Shotadze, Report's local bureau says.

Noting that he paid a visit to Tbilisi at the invitation of Georgian Prosecutor-General Irakli Shotadze, Kamran Aliyev said: “We had very fruitful meetings during this visit. After our talks and the signed memorandum, our relations will enter a new phase."

He said that relations between the Azerbaijani and Georgian Prosecutor-General’s Offices were major topics of the discussions at the meeting. In particular, the two sides exchanged views on mutual legal assistance in specific criminal cases, sharing good practices, taking a common position on international platforms, organizing mutual visits, and other issues.
