Azerbaijan plays one of the most pivotal roles in the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), according to Kazakh political analyst Talgat Kaliyev.
"Azerbaijan acts as a key engine within the OTS, showing a remarkable level of engagement," Kaliyev told Report, emphasizing President Ilham Aliyev's initiatives to deepen integration among member states.
He highlighted the active work of Azerbaijani think tanks and noted that significant decisions within the OTS have stemmed from the collaborative efforts of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
"Today, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan lead the Turkic integration process, and the OTS is making a strong mark on the international stage, becoming increasingly influential," Kaliyev said.
He also praised the effectiveness of OTS summits, saying: "Each summit strengthens economic cooperation and sparks new projects and initiatives."
