Jeyhun Bayramov meets with newly appointed Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Azerbaijan

On September 3, 2021, Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kayrat Osmonaliyev. The Azerbaijani Foreign Minister accepted a copy of the Ambassador's credentials and congratulated him on his appointment, Report informs, citing the ministry.

Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about the old-centuries friendly relations between the two countries based on ethnic, cultural, and religious ties and stressed the prospects for developing these relations. The Minister said there was a mutual understanding between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan at all levels. Bayramov also expressed satisfaction with the development of cooperation between our countries on multilateral platforms.

Ambassador Kayrat Osmonaliyev noted that although he was newly appointed, he was aware of Azerbaijan. The Ambassador said he would spare no effort to strengthen relations between our countries further.

Osmonaliyev conveyed the cordial greetings of Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev to Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and said that Minister Kazakbaev had invited his Azerbaijani counterpart to pay an official visit.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on various aspects of the bilateral cooperation agenda, including strengthening cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, cultural spheres and the implementation of joint projects and regional security issues of mutual interest.

The Minister wished Ambassador Kayrat Osmonaliyev success in his future activities in Azerbaijan.
