Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Edmondo Cirielli, Report informs referring to the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy, the prospects for strategic partnerships between the two countries in the field of security, political, economic, trade, energy, humanitarian, educational and other fields were discussed.
Deputy Minister Edmondo Cirielli noted that Azerbaijan is a strategic partner of Italy and added that with the end of the conflict, a new period started in the entire region and more favorable opportunities appeared.
During the meeting, other international and regional issues of mutual interest were discussed.
