Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
Report informs, citing Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry, that the sides discussed bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Germany, as well as the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period.
The opposite side was also informed in detail about the work done within the framework of Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29.
Speaking about the current situation in the region in the post-conflict period, restoration and reconstruction work in the territories liberated from occupation, as well as the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov drew attention to the fact that the ongoing territorial claims against Azerbaijan in the Constitution and legislative documents of Armenia, as well as the rapid armament of this country, pose a danger to the peaceful agenda.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
