Jeyhun Bayramov discusses activities of Non-Aligned Movement with Vice President of Uganda

Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Vice President of Uganda Jessica Rose Epel Alupo within the framework of his participation in the UN General Assembly High-Level Week 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan told Report.

During the meeting, the parties had a detailed discussion on activities and plans on international multilateral platforms, especially within the framework of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Minister Bayramov shared his experience of organizing international events and initiatives put forward within the framework of the presidency of Azerbaijan. It was emphasized that within the framework of the Movement, the youth network and the size of the Parliament were promoted and established.

The other party informed that Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement is exemplary for many countries and that Uganda, which intends to chair the Movement at the next stage, plans to cooperate closely with Azerbaijan.
