Istanbul hosts Türkiye-Azerbaijan Brotherhood Forum

Istanbul has hosted the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Brotherhood Forum, Report informs via Haber Global.

The event, attended by MPs from both countries, began with the Azerbaijani National Anthem and Türkiye's Independence March, followed by a minute of silence to honor the cherished memory of the martyrs.

During the forum, the close relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan were highlighted. It was noted that Türkiye and Azerbaijan are brotherly countries, and it is gratifying that the forum is being held in Istanbul.

Tanzila Rustamkhanli, an MP of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament), emphasized that the victory in Karabakh has further strengthened the friendship between the two countries. She stated, "The Turkic world has two shining stars – Türkiye and Azerbaijan."

Moreover, support message was given to Azerbaijan, which is hosting COP29.
