Azerbaijan and Israel intend to develop cooperation in a number of areas, including politics, energy, agriculture, healthcare, and others, Report informs that Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek said in a press conference.
"Azerbaijan and Israel have identified the main types of cooperation, in particular, this is politics. Also, the use of water resources, agriculture, health, technology and security and energy are the main sectors on which the countries will work in the future," the ambassador said.
According to him, renewable energy is another promising area for the development of cooperation.
"We see that Azerbaijan is taking steps to lead the country towards a greener future," George Deek said, recalling that Israel is a leader in the field of solar and wind energy.
According to him, discussions are underway with the Energy Ministry on projects both in Baku and Karabakh, and tenders for these projects will be announced.
