Iranian-Azerbaijani ties have expanded after war, Ilham Aliyev says

Great opportunities for regional cooperation have emerged after the Patriotic War, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said as he received a delegation led by Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Co-Chair of the Azerbaijan-Iran Intergovernmental Joint Economic Cooperation Commission Rostam Ghasemi in a video format on January 25, Report informs.

"After the war, Iran-Azerbaijan relations have expanded in this direction, and an up-and-coming 3 + 3 cooperation platform has been created to establish regional cooperation," the head of state noted.

"The first meeting has already been held. I am confident that these meetings will be held regularly and will ensure the interests of the countries of the region," Ilham Aliyev said.
