Huseyn Mahmudov: 'We are witnessing another crime committed by Armenian invaders'

Mass graves around the world are a reminder of wars and conflicts, Major General Huseyn Mahmudov, head of the international military cooperation department of the Ministry of Defense, said during the visit of the military attaches of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan to the territory of another mass grave discovered in the Edilli village of the Khojavand district, Report informs.

"Today we are witnessing another crime committed by the Armenian invaders who killed Azerbaijani citizens during the First Karabakh War," he said.

“Mass graves around the world are a reminder of wars and conflicts. They remind of the tragedy of the persecuted population,” he declared.

Huseyn Mahmudov added that the found burial contains important evidence that will help bring to justice those who committed such a crime.

The major general said that this is not the third, but in fact the fourth discovered mass grave, and in total, the remains of 25 people were found.

“The objects found here confirm that these people were servicemen of the Azerbaijani army. We are here to show what happened to our people, what crimes were committed by the Armenian invaders. These are not just mass graves, there is a separate human story behind each grave,” he said.
