Hungarian Ambassador: 11th session of intergovernmental commission to further strengthen co-op with Azerbaijan

The upcoming 11th session of the Azerbaijan-Hungary Intergovernmental Commission is set to further strengthen the cooperation between the two countries, according to Tamás Torma, Hungary's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The ambassador made this statement during an official reception held in Baku on the occasion of Hungary's National Day.

"This year, both Hungary and Azerbaijan face important tasks," Ambassador Torma emphasized. "Hungary is holding the Presidency of the Council of the European Union for the second time since 2011. The main focus of Hungary's presidency is on increasing Europe's competitiveness, enlargement, and neighborhood policy."

The 10th session of the Azerbaijan-Hungary Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in April 2024.
