Work is underway to adapt the Azerbaijani Army to the Turkish model, Chairman of the National Defense Committee of the Turkish parliament Hulusi Akar told reporters in Baku, Report informs.
Akar recalled that the Azerbaijani president:
"As the head of state of Azerbaijan said, we are no longer 'one nation, two states', but 'one nation, three states'". In addition to being one nation, we are also one army. Therefore, Azerbaijan and Türkiye should work together in the field of defense and strengthen cooperation. For this, joint military exercises are a must."
