Over 30 years of cooperation, bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States of America have reached the level of partnership, US Chargé d'Affaires a.i. in Azerbaijan Hugo Guevara said at an event dedicated to the 247th anniversary of US independence, Report informs.
"When our country declared independence 247 years ago, few could have imagined that 13 small states in a remote corner of the world would become friends and partners of countries around the world," he said at the event organized in Baku.
The theme of the event this year was "Journey through America", which featured 4 cities, symbolizing the cultural and geographical diversity of the country - Las Vegas, New Orleans, New York, and San Francisco.
