Azerbaijani Tar musicians return to Karabakh after 30-year-long separation, Hikmat Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration said referring to the material prepared by Aljazeera about Azerbaijani folk musicians, Report informs.
"The Azerbaijani tar is a long-necked, plucked lute, traditionally crafted, and performed in communities throughout the Republic of Azerbaijan. The tar and the skills related to this tradition play a significant role in shaping the cultural identity of Azerbaijanis," he said on the social network X.
