Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of Tajikistan Mahmadtoir Zokirzoda has arrived in the Republic of Azerbaijan to participate in COP29, Report informs.
He was met at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Azerbaijani MP Aydin Mirzazada and other officials.
As part of COP29, a parliamentary meeting organized jointly by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the parliament will be held in Baku on November 16-17.
The meeting is expected to be attended by 92 delegations from 66 countries and international organizations, up to 330 participants, 167 members of parliament, including 12 speakers and vice-speakers.
