Hajiyev: There should be no territorial claims against Azerbaijan in Armenian constitution

The constitution of Armenia, as the president of Azerbaijan noted, must be changed, since it contains direct territorial claims against Azerbaijan, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev told journalists, Report's correspondent from Shusha informs.

He noted that an end must be put to territorial claims against Azerbaijan.

"We do not set a time frame for the peace treaty. Azerbaijan expects the cessation of territorial claims. We understand that the constitution is an internal matter of each country, but it should not contain territorial claims against another country. The legal framework must be in a form that will end territorial claims,” added Hajiyev.
