There are people among the members of the delegation from Guinea-Bissau visiting Baku, including top officials, who have previously graduated from Azerbaijan's higher education institutions, Guinea-Bissau's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Communities, Carlos Pinto Pereira said, Report informs.
The minister made the remark during his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku.
Carlos Pinto Pereira highlighted Azerbaijan's educational scholarships for students from Guinea-Bissau, particularly in fields such as engineering and petroleum engineering.
The meeting also covered cooperation in the oil and mining sectors, discussing the sharing of Azerbaijan's expertise and the potential for geological exploration work.
