GUAM countries mull to strenghen cooperation

The Council of National Coordinators of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Moldova) held a meeting through video conferencing.

The local Bureau of Report informs citing the Georgian Ministry.

Deputy Foreign Minister Vakhtang Makharoblishvili represented Georgia at the meeting.

During the online meeting, the parties discussed the organization's activities during the coronavirus pandemic and current agenda issues.

The sides also considered the interaction within the GUAM+ format and the prospects for cooperation with other countries.

The video conference stressed the need to strengthen political and intersectoral relations between the member states and discussed plans to develop cooperation.
