The newly appointed ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Azerbaijan, Ralf Horlemann, said in a meeting with Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), that he was impressed by the large-scale demining operations in Karabakh, Report informs.
At the meeting, information was given on the date of establishment of the Agency, general directions of activities, demining operations carried out in the liberated territories, and the latest technological methods and tools used.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the possible support of the Federal Republic of Germany to humanitarian demining activities in Azerbaijan.
Vugar Suleymanov congratulated the ambassador on his new appointment and wished him success in his future activities.
Ambassador Ralf Horlemann said that he was impressed by the large-scale activities and the progress of the reconstruction and reconstruction works carried out in the direction of solving the mine problem, which is the biggest obstacle in creating a safe environment in Karabakh.
