"Georgia received a lot of help from Azerbaijan during the pandemic," Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili told the meeting of the Azerbaijani-Georgian Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation in Baku on 29 September, Report’s local bureau says.
“Our Azerbaijani friends and brothers helped us a lot during this period. I openly thank you for that," he said.
According to the prime minister, over recent years, significant progress has been made in relations between the two countries.
"Nevertheless, I believe that our potential is bigger and it needs to be exploited. Today's meeting is a good opportunity to discuss current issues, as well as future plans."
