Georgia's peace initiative in the South Caucasus is clearly and strongly supported by the United States and the European Union, Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani said, Report informs.
According to Zalkaliani, the peace initiative means strengthening the mediation process in the South Caucasus, as well as the implementation of specific critical economic projects in the region: "In this format, we consider the development of cooperation in the field of logistics and transport, international, cultural relations, and humanitarian issues."
He said that a meeting of experts on the initiative will be held soon and the matter will be discussed at high levels: "This process will definitely continue with the participation of our international partners."
