According to Garibashvili, in the face of rapidly changing and complex challenges, great importance is attached to peace and stability, which are key features of the region's development and the well-being of its peoples.

"We also touched upon the situation in the region, the recent agreement on the start of the peace negotiations reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This certainly gives us great hope. Here I would like to reaffirm that Georgia, myself and our Government declare our full readiness to continue and support the peaceful policy we started together," Garibashvili said.

At the same time, the prime minister emphasized that the peaceful neighborhood initiative does not contradict or replace other formats of cooperation; on the contrary, it will help.

"I believe that together we will do many more important things. I also welcome the initiative you voiced in Prague to create a mechanism for a joint trilateral discussion format in the South Caucasus," Garibashvili said.
