Former president: No more hope for EU

The EU should show interest in the issue of dividing the seabed of the Caspian Sea, former President of Serbia Boris Tadic said at the panel discussion “Assessing Western Balkans: The Way Forward” held within VIII Global Baku Forum, Report informs.

Touching upon the issue of resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, he noted that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was resolved by military means, and this changed the situation in the region.

The ex-president said that the EU countries cannot get out of the economic crisis.

The EU countries have experienced a migration crisis, and this has led to a difficult political situation in the EU, he added.

Tadic noted that the EU doesn’t intend to expand towards the Western Balkans. The EU is faced with strategic problems, and there is no more hope for this structure, he added.
