The foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Türkiye, Jeyhun Bayramov and Hakan Fidan, held a meeting on the sidelines of the 3+3 regional consultative format in Istanbul, according to Report.
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said the ministers discussed a wide range of topics, including the prospects for regional and international cooperation, as well as issues stemming from the allied relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. The post-conflict situation in the South Caucasus and global security challenges were also on the agenda.
Minister Bayramov said on social media that during the meeting he confirmed the importance of using existing opportunities to expand cooperation in various regional formats and organizations.
He also briefed his Turkish counterpart on the current state of the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, along with the remaining challenges and other matters.
