FM: Zangazur Corridor opening depends on Armenia's full compliance with agreement

The opening of the Zangazur corridor depends on Armenia's full compliance with the agreement, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov told journalists, Report informs.

Bayramov mentioned that there is no final positive decision on this issue yet.

The minister added that Azerbaijan rapidly continues work on its territory:

"The majority of the railway construction has already been completed, and work is underway on the remaining part. Additionally, as per the agreement with Iran, the construction of a bridge over the Araz River is ongoing. This work aims to establish a route between Azerbaijan's western border and Nakhchivan via Iran."

Bayramov also highlighted that "the fulfillment of Armenia's obligations, as well as the opening of a shorter route—specifically the corridor through Armenia—depends on the full implementation of the agreement by official Yerevan."
