FM: Keshikchidag issue will be resolved within strategic interests of Georgia and Azerbaijan

"During the visit of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to Azerbaijan, the issue of David Gareja (Keshikchidag) was one of the main topics of discussion," said Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.

He praised the PM's official visit to Baku.

The Minister noted that Georgia's strategic partner - Azerbaijan has once again demonstrated its readiness to resolve the issue as soon as possible:

"It's essential. The interests of both countries will be taken into account in resolving the issue. The atmosphere prevailing during the last visit of the Prime Minister to Azerbaijan allows us to say that this issue will be resolved in the strategic interests of both sides."
