Azerbaijani citizens are becoming victims of mines massively planted by Armenia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at a meeting with Heidi Kuhn, founder and head of the Roots of Peace international humanitarian organization, Report informs.
During the meeting, the minister noted that Azerbaijani citizens are becoming victims of mines massively planted by Armenia, which does not want to cooperate with Azerbaijan in the field of mine clearance.
It was emphasized that the mine threat hinders the reconstruction work in Karabakh and the process of returning the former internally displaced persons to their native lands.
