Armenia's rapid arming and continued aggressive rhetoric threaten the peace process, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, said at the meeting with the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Report informs, citing the ministry.
Bayramov gave detailed information about the large-scale restoration and construction work carried out in the region during the post-conflict period, the steps taken towards the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and challenges threatening regional peace and stability to his counterpart.
It was stated that the political and military provocations by Armenia, which have become more intense in recent times, as well as the rapid arming and aggressive rhetoric of this country, pose a threat to the peace process.
