Farid Shafiyev: France's policy does not serve lasting peace in South Caucasus

France's policy does not serve lasting peace in the South Caucasus, Chairman of the Center of Analysis of International Relations (CAIR) Farid Shafiyev said at the event “Towards the Complete Elimination of Colonialism,” organized in Baku by CAIR within the Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Coordinating Bureau, Report informs.

He said that the President of the Council of the European Union, Charles Michel, is making efforts for signing of the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia:

“However, France has a different stance towards the signing of the peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”

Shafiyev noted that the NAM is an important platform: "This organization has supported Azerbaijan.”
