The international community has a responsibility to address the denied rights of the Western Azerbaijan community, international relations analyst Khalid Taimur Akram told Report.
“The first step should be to call on the Armenian government to immediately halt its repression of the community and to hold those responsible for human rights abuses accountable. The international community should also provide humanitarian assistance to the people affected by the conflict and work to support the protection and promotion of the rights of the Western Azerbaijan community,” he added.
“The international community should also support any peaceful protests and demonstrations for the rights of the Western Azerbaijan Community. The International community can also advocate for the rights of the Western Azerbaijan community, by joining hands with the government of Azerbaijan.
In conclusion, the International community must take action to support the protection and promotion of the rights of the Western Azerbaijan community.”
