Expert: Turkey and Azerbaijan setting example of brotherhood, unity and friendship

In the days to come Turkish and Azerbaijani businesspeople will carry out many joint projects to revive Karabakh, devastated by the Armenian occupation, Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director of the Pakistani Center for Global & Strategic Studies, said in an interview with Report.

“Turkey showed its full support to Azerbaijan, and it is still contributing to the development of the region. I believe that both Turkey and Azerbaijan are setting an example of brotherhood, unity, and friendship for the rest of the world to follow,” he said.

Regarding the inauguration of Fuzuli International Airport, he noted that this airport will be Azerbaijan's gateway into the world: “In my opinion, this latest development will play a constructive role in the development of Karabakh, it will also help in enhancing the tourism industry contributing to the economic progress as well,” he added.

“The Republic of Azerbaijan has been dedicatedly working to reconstruct and rehabilitate the liberated areas. The liberated regions are now entering a new phase marked by the efforts of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev,” he noted.

The opening of the Fuzuli International Airport took place on October 26. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan participated in the ceremony.
