Expert: Iran pointing fingers at other countries to justify its own level of aggression

Iran is promoting the old chestnut of propaganda, Irina Tsukerman, the US-based expert and analyst, told Report.

“Until today, not a single piece of evidence showing signs of any such people [terrorists in Karabakh] has been found; indeed, it is quite strange to assert that they were necessary given the sophistication of Azerbaijan’s military capabilities or the fact that Arabic-speaking mercenaries would not fit due to language and training issues and other obvious factors,” she said.

Tsukerman also added that Iran is actually discrediting this mantra by repeating simply because Tehran’s propaganda has no credibility anywhere in the world except with the exceptionally naive or the corrupt.

“The regime known for murdering thousands of its own citizens as well as staging terrorist attacks and attempted assassinations all over the world probably should not be pointing fingers at other countries, and is only doing so to justify its own level of aggression,” she concluded.
