Erdogan responds to Italian PM: Draghi’s statement is obscenity and rudeness

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has responded to Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, who called the Turkish leader a dictator, Report informs.

The head of state, answering a question from young people about this, said: “The statement of the Italian prime minister is real obscenity and rudeness."

"While we hope for a positive development of Turkish-Italian relations, a man named Draghi, unfortunately, undermined our relations with his statement. To use such an expression about Recep Tayyip Erdogan, you must know your history. But we saw that Draghi doesn’t know it. We will continue to serve our people and not pay attention to the statements of the Italian prime minister. We must do our job,” Erdogan added.
