Egypt has expressed condolences to Azerbaijan regarding the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) aircraft near the city of Aktau.
Report informs via TASS that the Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a document with the corresponding content.
"The government and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt express sincere condolences to the friendly Republic of Azerbaijan regarding the passenger plane crash that resulted in deaths and injuries," the Egyptian foreign ministry said.
Cairo also declared its support for Baku "in such a difficult moment," wished "speedy recovery to all those injured" and expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased.
