Lithuania sees great potential for expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan and is committed to actively sharing its best practices, experiences and success stories with the country, Lithuanian Minister of Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaite said at the opening of the Azerbaijani-Lithuanian business forum in Vilnius on May 22, Report's correspondent in Vilnius said.
She noted that today's event will open up new opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
"The visit of the President of Azerbaijan, accompanied by a delegation of the country's business circles, is a powerful confirmation of our mutual intention to intensify our bilateral economic agenda," she said.
According to the minister, one of the main goals that Lithuania is trying to achieve is the diversification of export markets: "This could help us connect our economies and trade and pave the way for more joint projects, more impressive trade performance."
