Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and China, cooperation between the two countries has stood the test of time, Ding Tao, China's charge d'affaires in Azerbaijan, said at a press conference on the results of the SCO Heads of State Council Meeting, Report informs.
“We highly appreciate the development of bilateral relations. During the Astana summit, the heads of state exchanged views on cooperation in various areas. This once again demonstrated that China and Azerbaijan are ready to support each other's key interests,” the diplomat said.
Tao noted that the declaration on the Strategic Partnership between Azerbaijan and China signed in Astana is a new starting point in the development of bilateral relations, as stated by Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
“China is ready to advance relations with Azerbaijan for the benefit of our countries and peoples,” he added.
