Deputy Minister: Conflicts existing in BSEC region affect its development

Baku. 14 December. REPORT.AZ / “Conflicts existing in BSEC region affect its development,” Deputy FM of Azerbaijan Mahmud Mammadguliyev said.

Report informs that he spoke at a press conference following the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of BSEC held in Baku.

According to him, these conflicts create some barriers for the full-pledged cooperation between the countries, while the main goal of the organization is economic cooperation.

"We do not solve political issues within the BSEC, it is an economic organization. For the same reason, I did not discuss the problem of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with the representative of Armenia, which came to Baku to participate in the meeting of the organization," he said.
