Bulgaria attaches particular importance to relations with Azerbaijan as a strategic partner in the South Caucasus region and the wider Black Sea region, especially in the context of diversifying energy supplies, Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria Kostadin Kojabashev said at a meeting with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Bulgaria Huseyn Huseynov, Report informs.
The parties discussed the intensive political dialogue that has developed between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan in recent years, and agreed that the current intensive pace of cooperation should continue.
They also discussed the possibility of deepening transport links between the two countries and the prospects for developing cooperation in the energy sector.
